The war is over!

Finished up my entry for the dominance war III contest. It was really tough to find any time to do this but it was worth it. Big thanks to Sang for giving me some great tips and advice on the image. I learned a lot. By the way I hope Sang and Sean post their images soon. Both of their images came out great and I didn't realize until the end that we were all representing CGTALK.

more stories

This one is for a Shakespeare story called A Midsummer Night's Dream. It's for an assignment given by Sam Weber in my fashion illustration class.
Here's the finished piece for the Watersnake image I posted earlier. Lemme know what you guys think. This took waayy too long.

Big Huge Games - Art Open House

Big Huge Games will be having its semi-annual ART OPEN HOUSE this Thursday, April 10th from 5-8pm. There’ll be lots of food along with Big Huge artists demoing game creation techniques. Artists will also be on hand for student portfolio review and feedback. Big Huge is rapidly expanding with multiple projects underway for the Xbox 360, Playstation3 and Wii gaming platforms. We have more challenging and exciting work than we can handle and are on the lookout for talented and motivated students interested in paid summer internships.

There are a limited number of spaces for portfolio review. To reserve a timeslot please contact Jessica Hara at jhara(at)bighugegames.com

Space for the event is limited. If you plan to attend we kindly ask that you notify us at RSVP@bighugegames.com.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Rough Sketch

I decided to sketch my next character using the blue Col-Erase pencil since I have been using digital for as long as I can remember. It's nice to go back and forth every once in awhile. But will start painting in this guy very soon here and will start tweaking several areas. Can't wait to color this dude. Cheers!
